Sync with a family member cannot find the other device
- Keep both devices nearby, unlocked, and with Booger open.
- Confirm Bluetooth is enabled for Booger on both devices and camera permission is available on the joining device.
- Leave the invitation visible on the existing device.
- On the joining device, use Restart search if offered.
- If the invitation expired, cancel both flows and create a new one. Do not reuse an old QR screenshot.
Pairing is complete only when both devices say they have the same care log. Stop and report an indefinitely spinning search, mismatched code, lost entry, duplicate entry, or false completed-sync claim.
Family sync looks out of date
Open Booger on both paired devices and tap Try syncing now. Nearby background exchange can be delayed by iOS, Bluetooth state, force-quit, power-saving behaviour, or device lock.
The Family sync screen lists each directly synced device separately. Last synced is the time this device last completed an exchange with that named device; it does not confirm every family device has the newest records. An entry saved on one device remains there when another device is unavailable.
Remove a family's local copy
Open Family → Remove this family's local copy and confirm. This removes the family's saved data from that device. It cannot contact or erase other offline devices. Repeat the removal on every paired device if all copies must be removed.
Medical help
Booger cannot assess symptoms or medicine safety. Use the medicine label and advice from an appropriate pharmacist or clinician. For urgent or emergency help, contact the relevant local medical or emergency service; do not rely on Booger or its reminders.
